Welcome to my Creation Illustrated site
Have you ever wondered why God told Moses to write down all the ages of the people and events from Adam to the Land of Promise? Have you ever wondered if neither young-earth creationists nor strict evolutionists have it right? Have you tried and tried to get your brain to wrap around the story of Adam and Eve and it still doesn’t seem to fit into the text where it occcurs?  Well you’re not alone.
Once I became a Christian I determined that I would discover how, I mean HOW, the Bible can be true when so many things seemed contradictory. I wanted to know where the dates (years added up from Adam) listed from Genesis through Exodus would lead if I looked at them as a diagram. I also wanted to know if the Days of Genesis 1 were telling us far more than a straight reading of Genesis could allow. Since 1984 I have endeavored to find the answers to these and many other questions and I’m putting many of my findings in two eBooks, Biblical Creation: An Illustrated Autobiography and Biblical Creation: An Illustrative View with the Forgotten Beginning.

INTRODUCTION
We have all heard the expression “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”.  Well, the same is true of the story of creation.  We often see a number of parts and think we are seeing the whole but in the case of the BIble’s Genesis we are not seeing the whole of creation, only creation to date.   As God rests (the Holy Day of Rest) we know there is more to come and creation cannot end until God is satisfied with all of His works.  And I strongly suspect that will only be when He dwells with man (Revelation 21:1-3).
On this web site there are numerous pages showing individual components of the whole plan of Creation, not just a review of Genesis.  Once you have come to recognize the components as essential symbols then you can grasp the whole of the book. All of the symbols/components come together in an astonishing and revealing way.  A way that points to Jesus Christ as God (John 14:9), the first Word of Creation (John 1:1-3), the Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8) and Messiah (John 1:41).

THE HISTORY OF THIS WORK
The following materials are the result of 27 years (over 7000 hours) of work while following the LORD's urgings to move in this direction or that.  What began as a new Christian's fascination with why God wanted us to know the ages of the characters in Genesis and Exodus, has resulted in a most startling and revealing project.
I know the words of the Bible are true. But some teachings of mainstream Christianity complicate its truthfulness. What is sometimes taught in seminaries or by well intended Sunday school teachers as explanations to some peculiar passages can produce logical answers to questions that come best with spiritual insights.
By now you may be asking yourself about what formal training I have in theology or what seminary prepared me to make these assertions, and the answer is “none”.  I only trust in God’s word, nothing I have been taught in conventional ways about Christianity.
I determined many years ago that I would show how the Bible’s words are true – even though there are so many who believe they are not.  When the Bible says the earth was “divided” at the time of Peleg (Genesis 10:25) we need an understanding from the Holy Spirit, not in our own flesh.  God does not need to repeat Himself in order to gain our understanding.  If the earth was divided during the time of Peleg this does not have anything to do with God’s confusion of men’s language (Genesis 11:7) or God’s scattering of people over the whole earth (Genesis 11:9).  It clearly means something else because this word "divided" in the New American Standard translation with an accompanying Strongs Concordance (#6385, Hebrew/Aramaic) is only used in reference to Peleg in all of the Old Testament - once again in 1 Chronicles 1:19.  A primary root word meaning divided as in "split" or “cleft”, it is unused is all of the OT in relation to division of people, lands, waters, kingdoms, things. This clearly has a most unique significance. And with the graphical approach I believe I know what it was intended to show.
Mostly, my book concerns itself with the numbers that are woven into the first pages of the Bible and, I believe, were put there for us to examine very closely at this time in our history.  The Creation Illustrated project resulted in the book that examines these numbers, not as numerologists would, but as patterns clearly created by their organization.  I am constantly reminded of the LORD’s command to Moses to “See that you make them according to the pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain” Genesis 25:40.  These patterns have been drawn via the precision of a computer, so that they can be observed in relation to one another and the results presented for all to see and explore.  There is no relation to this approach and that of Kabbalah or Jewish mysticism. There is no mysticism to it, just accurate graphical illustrations - where straight lines cannot lie.  The patterns include:
1. the comprehensive dates (years from Adam) provided from Adam’s birth to the arrival of the Jews at the Land of Promise with Moses
2. close examination of the Creation Days of Genesis 1, including the 7th day of rest and an 8th day for circumcision, jubilee and the new heaven and earth (Revelation)
3. the genealogy of Jesus through Mary (Luke)
4. the fall of the Jews into slavery in Egypt, their Exodus as “reflected” in the Diaspora and return of the Jews from Babylon
5. the generation of Perez reflected on a “breach” in the overall pattern of Creation
6. the position of the first altar with Abraham, in historical time at 2000 BC
7. the correct position of David, the King, at about 1000 BC
8. the correct position of the concentrated “period” of the prophets in historical time beginning near David’s time and ending with the end of the Diaspora
9. identification of the 40 year period of wanderings in the wilderness

This project does illustrate the words of the Bible, in a way perhaps never before attempted and the relevance of the work is self-evident when fully grasped.  What I have to show to the Church is older than the Church itself.  It points to the Cross of Christ in ways I have never been able to find anywhere else.  It all comes from the Bible and it begins with the "beginning".
